The monograph presents the results of a study of the industry environmental and legal categories "legal restrictions in the field of environmental protection (ecological and legal restrictions)" and "environmental and legal incentives", which are tools for modeling environmental and legal impact on economic relations.
The legal nature of environmental and legal restrictions and incentives for economic activity has been considered, their general characteristic is given, the types of such restrictions and incentives are systematized, their role in the mechanism of action of environmental law is shown.
Based on the analysis of the environmental legislation of Russia and the practice of its application, as well as foreign experience in legal incentives in the field of environmental protection, some problems of the implementation of environmental and legal restrictions and incentives for economic activity in the national law and order are proposed and recommendations for overcoming them are proposed.
