The monograph examines the legal regime of environmental protection of the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation - a promising direction of development of the State Arctic Policy of Russia. The international legal framework for the protection of the environment of the Arctic macroregion is considered. The main emphasis is on modern state programs and domestic environmental legislation. Special attention is paid to the regional characteristics of the formation of the legal regime of environmental protection of the Arctic zone of Russia.
