Criminological portrait of Stepan Bandera

There are certain principles for constructing criminological portraits of criminals. In this paper, they were also applied, but taking into account the features that the criminological portrait was compiled in relation to the historical figure and politician. The author traced the life path of Stepan Bandera in conjunction with the historical events through which he passed, and those people who surrounded him. The influence of Bandera’s nationalist views on the formation of his personality is considered. In the course of the study, private scientific methods were used, especially the method of historical analysis. A methodology for compiling a criminological portrait of personality was also applied. The following characteristic personality traits of Bandera were established: 1) Organizational talent, 2) excellent intellectual abilities, 3) the absence of friends, 4) overcoming or implementation of the Napoleon Complex, 5) criminal inclinations, 6) psychological and psychiatric dependence on others, 7) Crime careerism, 8) necrophilia, 9) Narcissism, 10) egoism.
