The work sets out the main characteristics of the organization of illegal migration established during the author of criminological research. Such issues as the specifics of the dynamics and territorial prevalence of the organization of illegal migration in Russia, the variety of mechanisms of its commission, the criminological characteristics of the personality of the organizers of illegal migration, the practice of applying the criminal law on the organization of illegal migration (Article 322.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation), and achievement and miscalculations are considered in detail. warning and law enforcement, causes and conditions that contribute to this criminal phenomenon. His relationships with other manifestations of crime, as well as criminologically significant changes in Russian society, caused by illegal organized movement of a significant number of citizens of foreign states, were identified. The most promising, in the opinion of the author, methods for solving the problem of organizing illegal migration, including those related to the improvement of criminal law.
