The monograph studies criminal punishments as elements of the punishment system. The concept of each of the punishments included in the list provided for in Art. 44 of the Criminal Code. Judicial practice is analyzed, errors that are most common in the appointment of a particular punishment are revealed. Various points of view are studied regarding the regulation of specific punishments included in the system.
