Criminal liability for non -payment of funds for the maintenance of children or disability

The monograph is devoted to the problems of criminal liability for non -payment of funds for the maintenance of children or disabled parents. The work examines the content of objective and subjective signs of crimes under Art. 157 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, taking into account the updated administrative-consumer structure of the compositions. Discussion issues are resolved about the limits of criminal law protection of property relations between children and their parents, as well as the problems of qualifying criminal evasion of alimony obligations, including those related to the responsibility of the person undergoing administrative punishment, which makes minor payments compared to the main debt. Given the identified shortcomings of the criminal law protection mechanism of the interests of the family and minors, scientifically based author proposals were formulated to improve the current criminal legislation.
