In the monograph, gaps of legislative construction of norms designed to counteract sexual exploitation in the form of prostitution and law enforcement practice, which formed in the investigative and subsidiary bodies from 1997 to 2018, have formulated an updated edition of the acting and proposed for criminalization of new compositions of crimes are subjected to deep and thorough analysis. Recommendations have been developed to eliminate qualification errors submitted in the draft resolution of the Plenum of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation. A certain gap of criminological science is full of the introduction of a new theoretical concept of “prostitution crime” with the classification of its crimes and their criminological characteristics, a typological model of the personality of the criminal and the victimological paradigm of the victim of such crime were built and measures of its prevention were proposed.
