In monographs on the basis of a study of the etymological component of bribery, as well as international, foreign and domestic legislation, the main features characteristic of bribery and crimes associated with it, to develop on this basis, the conceptual-cathegorial apparatus, which is planned to be used in the theory of criminal law, the criminal law and practical activities in the field of countering the crimes of the studied group. The author’s concept of classification of crimes related to bribery has been developed, and the positive impact of this process on the possibility of systematizing and improving the current criminal law, theory and law enforcement practice has been proved. The ratio has been studied and the criteria for the distinction between the concepts of "corruption", "corruption crimes", "corruption crimes", "crimes related to the bribery" and "bribed crimes" in international, domestic legislation and the doctrine of criminal law. With the application of historical, comparative legal and other scientific - general scientific and private scientific - methods, the genesis of domestic criminal legislation on liability for crimes related to bribery has been investigated and the development trends of modern criminal legislation in this area are outlined, the conceptual criteria for the criminalization of the bribery are outlined and theoretical rationale is given the need to highlight the general concept of the corpus delicti by characterizing the analyzed group of objective and subjective features common to crimes. The author’s concept of solving key problems inherent in crimes related to the bribery of criminal law and law enforcement activities has been proposed, proposals have been developed and substantiated in the manner of "de lege ferenda" to improve the criminal legislation on liability for crimes related to the bribery in order to improve the effectiveness of opposition to him by criminal law means.
