This publication is experimental. Firstly, for the first time in the educational literature, religious, philosophical, ideological and cultural foundations of criminal law are revealed, it is shown its intersectoral relations, the relationship with criminal policy and criminology, and criminal law of foreign countries, and the characteristics of integration criminal law were given. At the same time, the traditional components of the training course are also represented: the concept, subject and method of criminal law, its goals, objectives and functions, principles, genesis and evolution of criminal legislation and criminal law science. Secondly, the course is distinguished by the presentation of a material, primarily aimed at existing problems in the theory of criminal law, which should cause research interest and contribute to a deeper assimilation of the subject.
