The textbook was prepared in accordance with the program of the training course "Criminal Law studied in universities in the direction of jurisprudence", on the basis of modern scientific concepts, existing criminal legislation and law enforcement practice. The textbook takes into account the latest changes in the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, gives a modern understanding of the institutions of the general part of the criminal law of Russia, sets out the provisions of its special part, the judicial practice is analyzed, and the different points of view of scientists are presented on the discussion issues of the theory and practice of criminal law.
