The monograph proposed to readers show theoretical and practical problems of crimes against the health of the population and public morality.
The first section of the work is devoted to the theoretical foundations of the crimes under consideration. The author’s definitions are given to the concepts of crimes and their objects, the systematization of crimes against the health of the population and public morality is proposed, and a historical review of the development of criminal liability is presented.
In the second section of the monographs, the problems of criminal liability for crimes against the health of the population are dismantled.
In the third section - problems of criminal liability for crimes against morality.
The book highlights various approaches and discussions regarding the qualifications of crimes of Ch. 25 of the Criminal Code. The author is theoretically substantiated and proposed the rules for the qualification of the crimes under consideration.
In the preparation of the monograph, 2888 decisions of courts of various levels and various regions of Russia were studied and analyzed. The work provides numerous examples from modern judicial practice.
