The work is devoted to the study of liability for a crime of genocide in international criminal law and criminal law of individual states. Particular attention was paid to the practice of applying the norms for the crime of a genocide committed by the leadership of the former ruling party of the BAAS, headed by Saddam Hussein, in the Republic of Iraq during the military campaign of Al-Antal (1988).
The fact proves the fact of the commission of a crime of genocide in relation to the religious group of the Yezids Iraq by the International Terrorist Organization "Islamic State (2014) However, if the committing of the genocide crime during the Al-Antal campaign is confirmed by the sentence of the Supreme Iraqi Criminal Tribunal, then the Yezidov genocide must still become the subject of consideration in the national courts of Iraq and the International Criminal Court.
