The work considers the essence and social significance of the principle of independence of the court. The classification of factors affecting the implementation of this principle is presented: legislative, managerial, socio-psychological and personal. At the same time, the significance of managerial processes occurring within the judicial system, their influence on the official career of judges, and, consequently, on the functioning of the entire judicial system.
