This book, the first edition of which was published in 1997 and which was then reprinted and printed more than once, entered the gold fund of domestic civilistic literature. In the future, this book became an organic part of the five -volume labor "contract law", undertaken by the same co -authors, but did not lose its independent significance.
The work of two leading Russian civilists, members of the working group for the preparation of the project of the current Civil Code of the Russian Federation combines both scientific analysis of the main categories and institutions of contract law, and the commentary of law enforcement that regulates the procedure for concluding, changing and terminating contracts, recognition of them invalid , the assignment of the rights and transfer of debt under the contract, the deposit and other methods of ensuring the fulfillment of contractual obligations, liability (loss, penalty, percent per annum) for non -fulfillment or improper execution of the contract.
