The monograph reveals the content of the conceptual foundations of the criminal law of pre -revolutionary, Soviet and modern Russia. The conceptual conditionality of the system of criminal law concepts and institutions is shown, and the need for the conceptual development of the doctrine of criminal law and the criminal legislation of Russia is also justified. The provisions formulated by the author allow us to develop positive approaches to improving the doctrine of criminal law and criminal legislation of Russia.
