The commentary discusses the features of the application of administrative responsibility measures for various types of offenses in the field of environmental protection, as well as in various fields of nature management. Particular attention is paid to the analysis of criteria for distinguishing between administrative offenses and related corpus delicti under the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. All changes and additions made to Chapter 8 of the Code of Administrative Offenses as of November 1, 2019 are taken into account, examples of administrative and judicial law enforcement practice are given, as well as generalizations and recommendations contained in the decisions of the Plenum of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation.
