The commentary combines two principles: high scientific and practical orientation. The first is achieved by the author’s team, which includes leading specialists of the criminal law of Russian higher educational institutions, the second - the content and structure of work that had not previously found in such publications. Each chapter is given a general comment, which discusses the main issues and concepts, shows the connection of the norms of the chapter with other requirements of the criminal law, and the list of literature, referring to which you can get additional information on a particular problem. The comment is equipped with a thorough information and reference material: immediately after the text of the article, the legislation and decisions of the Plenum of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation, necessary for law enforcement, are given, after the text of the commentary are the most characteristic examples of judicial practice, which clearly illustrate theoretical provisions. In addition, after each chapter, appropriate statistics are given during the action of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. The legislation is given as of August 1, 2018.
