Building an effective system of state unified statistical accounting of crimes is an extremely important task for Russian statehood, without a solution to which it is difficult to form an adequate criminal policy and make reasonable management decisions in the field of combating crime.
The monographs consider issues related to the formation and development of the system of state unified statistical accounting of crimes, historical aspects of this process, its legal basis.
Various aspects of the classification of crimes for the purposes of state unified statistical accounting, in particular criminal law and criminological, also are the subject of the study.
Particular attention is paid to issues of the reliability of the statistical data used in the system of state unified statistical accounting of crimes, and the role of the prosecutor"s office in its support.
A separate section is devoted to the analysis of foreign experience of statistical accounting of crimes.
The provisions of the legislation are given as of January 1, 2022
The monograph is intended for prosecutors, specialists in the field of public administration, scientific employees, faculty, students, students and graduate students of the University of the Prosecutor"s Office of the Russian Federation, all Interested in issues of the current state of legal statistics. It can be used in the system of advanced training of prosecutors, as well as in the process of teaching students of law universities
