This monograph considers the foreign and domestic historical experience of the legislative regulation of relations for the development of land plots. The object of legal study is the legislation of modern European states that are part of the continental legal family (Germany, France, Italy, Estonia of Switzerland, Austria and Ukraine) The experience of the domestic legislator in terms of regulating the mentioned relations, obtained in various historical stages (pre -revolutionary and Soviet) is investigated. The conclusion is concluded that the system of legal regulation of relations for the development of land plots is a derivative and is directly dependent on various factors, the most significant of which are: views on the legal being of the real estate, as well as the values of physical and legal relations arising between land section and structure located on it.
