For the present, the rapid development of auxiliary reproductive, as well as genomic technologies used as new methods of treating infertility and studies of the embryo genome, is characteristic. At the same time, in order to ensure the necessary protection of the rights of persons who resort to such technologies, it is necessary at the legislative level to resolve the types of auxiliary reproductive technologies used in detail, determine the procedure for their application and, most importantly, the responsibility of persons providing services in this area.
It should be noted that the legal regulation of auxiliary reproductive technologies of a person (ART) in the Russian Federation requires improvement, for which it is necessary to adopt a single law, which must determine the basic concepts used in the field of application of ARTs, regulate procedures and manipulations, the implementation of which has become possible in connection with the development of medical technologies
