The manual was prepared in accordance with the curriculum and the work program of the academic discipline (module) “Administrative Coercion” for undergraduates of the Moscow State Law University named after O. E. Kutafin (MGUA) as part of the development of the master"s program “Lawyer in the field of public administration”. In accordance with the state educational standard, administrative coercion is considered as a method of implementing the executive branch. The history of the development of administrative coercion, its legal basis, classification and types of measures are highlighted. Particular attention is paid to the features of the application of administrative coercive measures in the field of migration, healthcare, licensing and permits. Methods of protecting the rights of citizens and legal entities are characterized when applying administrative coercive measures.
