The monograph is the result of a comprehensive system study of the most important and insufficiently studied problem of administrative and legal security of road safety in the Russian Federation. Its theoretical foundations are analyzed in the work, the state system of ensuring road safety, the place and role of the traffic police in it, as well as the features of administrative-legal coercion and prevention in this area, are considered. Theoretical provisions and proposals for improving legislation and law enforcement practice are formulated.
