The collection is dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the birth of a wonderful novelist, the doctor of philological sciences, the chief researcher of the Institute of Linguistic Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the laureate of international and Russian premiums, an outstanding translator, a member of the Writers of St. Petersburg, Larisa Georgievna Stepanova. Larisa Georgievna attracted issues of general linguistics, the history of linguistic thought, the formation of literary languages and the relationship between the language and literature. Her long-term Dante occupations, Petrarch, Viko, Btembo, Croce, as well as modern Italian literature and the Italian theme in Russian literature, primarily at O. Martelstam and I. Berrovsky, determined the subject of this collection
