This textbook is intended for students studying jurisprudence. It presents a systematic course of the Latin language as a language of Roman law. The long-term practice of teaching the Latin language, legal students allowed the author to choose the concept of a textbook and try to facilitate the task of students in mastering not only a language, but also some terms and norms of Roman law. It is for this purpose that the textbook has such sections as the "Latin language and Roman law", "commentary on legal terms" and "personalities", and in the “final grammatical review” the whole grammar given in the lessons as a system is presented in a brief presentation ( Namely and verbal).
The textbook is addressed not only to students and teachers of the Latin language, but also to those who are interested in the history of law and antiquity.
