It is a concentrated experience of the twenty -five -year teaching of the Latin language in a medical institution of higher education. The educational material is distributed into three sections, the content of which corresponds to the main thermal systems of medicine: anatomical-hystological, clinical and pharmaceutical. Theoretical material is accompanied by exercises that contribute to its consolidation and mastery of practical translation skills. At the end of each section, the Latin-Russian and Russian-Latin dictionaries are given. The Latin-Russian dictionary of the clinical section is more intelligent, since the clinical terms most often are transliterate words.
Thus, this publication can be used by students as a reference book and in senior courses for medical terminology and recipe. In addition to the educational function, the textbook will ensure the worldview and general cultural orientation of the training of future medical specialists
