The poet of the first wave of emigration Vladimir Lvovich Korvin-Piotrovsky (1891-1966) is probably the least known from the significant Russian poets of the 20th century. He played a considerable role during the brief flourishing of the "Russian Berlin", however, and later remained a noticeable figure in other centers of the Russian Diaspora - Paris and the United States. Apparently in the lifetime of critics and few readers - including Berdyaev, Bunin, Nabokov, - Corvin-Piotrovsky has not yet gained the place in the history of Russian literature, which he undoubtedly deserved.
Collected Works VL. Corvin-Piotrovsky comes out in Russia for the first time. In addition to the famous two-volume meeting of the Late Guest (Washington, 1968), who did not have time to go out during the lifetime of the poet, it contains works that the author, publishing in the early years of creativity, did not recognize the end of his life, as well as a significant number of never published poems
