In the series Classic in the University, works included in the curricula on university literature, academies and institutions are published. Most of these works are difficult to find not only in bookstores and libraries, but also in electronic format.

In Laocoon, two types of art are compared: painting and poetry - on the example of the sculpture of Laocoon depicted by the sadochny, and Laocoon shown by versgil. In Russia, the book was not reissued since 1980
