Workshop on the translation of scientific and technical texts. English - Russian

This workshop consists of seven modules and contains original and adapted texts in English and Russian. For each section, exercises are given aimed at improving the skills of direct and reverse translation of scientific and technical texts with and without a dictionary. The workshop introduces the lexical and grammatical difficulties of translating scientific and technical texts, prepares for the translation of technical literature and contributes to the formation of students in the scientific picture of the world, taking into account the latest achievements in accurate and natural sciences.
Designed for students of linguistic faculties and faculties of foreign languages. It can be used for students of mathematical and natural scientific faculties of universities, in high school, gymnasiums and schools with in-depth study of objects of the natural scientific cycle
