A collection of articles to the 70th anniversary of Academician A.M. Moldova.
The collection publishes scientific research on the Russian language, performed mainly in the diachronic perspective. The collection contains four large sections: grammatical, lexicological, epigraphic and textual. The grammatical section discusses non-trivial constructions and forms that functioned in ancient and old Russian writing. The largest section of the collection is articles about words. In the works of this section, a linguistic analysis is combined with the study of cultural realities and processes characterizing the relevant periods of Russian history, and various methods of immersion in the cultural context are developed. The section on epigraphics contains articles that offer new readings and interpretations of Old Russian graffiti. In the textological section, the history of a number of Church Slavonic monuments is traced
