Dorothy Lee Seyers is an English writer, most famous thanks to detective novels, a philologist, a playwright and a translator. Seyers participated in the base of the British detective club and was one of the first women who received a degree in Oxford.
Whose body? -The first detective novel of the author, in which the main character of its eleven detectives and many stories appears, aristocrat and amateur detective, Lord Peter Uimzy. The novel brought the writer a success, and in the twenties he was followed by “clouds of witnesses”, “unnatural death”, “trouble in Bellon Club”.
