This textbook was prepared on the basis of a generalization of the methods of teaching oriental languages by experienced teachers of the Institute of Asia and Africa of Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov, Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation and the Tashkent State Institute of Oriental Studies, as well as taking into account the wishes and needs of students studying the Uzbek language.
In the manual, special attention is paid to practical work on the translation of texts of various content from the Uzbek language into Russian and from Russian to Uzbek, retelling and referring texts in the Uzbek language. The exercises are preceded by a brief presentation of grammatical rules, stylistic features, examples of the use of structures and revolutions are given, which cause the greatest difficulty when translating in the Uzbek language studies.
All lessons are equipped with a detailed dictionary. At the end of the manual, historical, business, country, artistic and socio-political adapted texts in Russian and Uzbek, as well as the keys to them are given
