The training manual distinguishes and describes four types of intertext: autotex (self -cocked), paratxual (semantic connection of the text with the title, epigraph, author"s commentary, editorial annotation), intellectual (allusion, allusive plot, allusive anthroponym) and architectal (reference (reference To well -known artistic, poetic, mythological and other way, as well as phenomena of culture) All theoretical thoughts are backed up by a practical analysis of English -speaking poetic texts. Each of the paragraphs contains a set of questions, tasks and a list of literature.
