Ilya Vinitsky - Doctor of Philology, Professor of the Department of Slavicism University, researcher of Russian literature of the 18th - 19th centuries. Its new book is devoted to artistic translation as a way of interpreting texts and whole plots using the example of works of Western literature of the XVIII -XX centuries in the perception of domestic writers. Along with the favorite characters of Vinitsky (V. A. Zhukovsky, Count Khvostov, etc), the authors who are familiar to the reader appear in the new interpretations and almost forgotten plots of past centuries
