In this monograph, morality is considered as a product of ontological tendencies to combine individual systems and their autonomy. The content of morality is constructed in the synthesis of language and non -linguistic aspects. The decisive role in the formation of morality belongs to the language. Language as a sign system underlies free will - the ability to actively intervene in the course of natural and mental processes. On the language material, normative determination is built, which turns a person into a responsible moral subject. Linguistic paths - metonymy and metaphor - allow us to establish an artificial connection between different aspects of being and a special order of relations between people ("ethos") The central metaphor embedded in the foundation of morality is the “golden mean” between an excess and a lack. The moral order is formed in the dialogue between people and is justified by various narratives, which are coordinated with each other and connect separate life episodes into a relatively whole system. The formation of the normative order (this is the General of ") is the process of integrating behavioral strategies and mechanisms into a complex network, the original nodes of which are indignation, wine, self -esteem and love. The moral significance of love in the monograph is a special place. The condition for successful inclusion in the normative order is ethical hermeneutics. The art of understanding the intentions and reasons for another or third person is the practical implementation of tolerance. The immorality ("moral idiocy") is a rupture of the moral network, the weakening or hypertrophy of its individual links
