The monograph is devoted to issues of the formation and development of the international organization of the Francophony, language situation, politics and prospects for the development of Francophony in Switzerland, Canada and Senegale. For the first time in modern linguistics, the problems of the conditions for the existence of the French language options in different geographical areas are raised, where the French language has the status of official (enshrined by the Constitution): in Europe, North America and Africa. Particular attention in the work is paid to the features of the functioning of the French language in the conditions of official multilingualism, in which two or more languages would constitute constitutionally on the territory of the countries under consideration.
