The monograph discusses the types of speech rhythm. Particular attention is paid to the analysis of the columetric or syntactic rhythm - a phenomenon that has not yet attracted active research attention of specialists. The concepts that make up its categorical apparatus are systematized and described, a number of techniques and styles of columetric, in particular periodic rhythmization, were revealed, and this basis clarified the descriptions of individual speech genres, primarily Verlibra and Versete. The ratio of various types of rhythm has been characterized, descriptions and definitions of a number of concepts, in particular poetic transfer and poetic division, cesurgeous build and cesurgearus, etc. were adjusted. A number of controversial problems have been analyzed, the historical retrospective of the issue was covered, analytical comments are given.
