The study is devoted to complex semiotic education - an oral spontaneous discourse and its most vivid form, built according to the model of synergism, dialogue. The phenomenon of hezitations (speech fluctuations, pauses of thinking) and their functions on the material of German spontaneous speech are analyzed. The specifics of the hezitational segmentation of the speech flow and the significance of hezitations for coding and decoding of speech are considered.
