Having made a scientific discovery, the ingenious scientist Griffin is in West: invisibility deprives him of the heat of human communication, he is forced to starve and hide a new look, so as not to become a jester for commoners. An attempt to return his own face exposes the most dark sides of Griffin’s nature: he begins to dream of wealth, strives to seize power and tries to commit a murder. But the ending of a single villain is predictable: invisibility makes obvious all the vices of an evil genius and leads him to death.
