The manual is the first part of the training complex and is built on the material of authentic specialized texts in Italian, affecting the most relevant for the initial stage of teaching the technical translation of the topic. Sources of texts were special (technical) literature, as well as materials published on specialized portals on the Internet. Each section includes several thematic lessons, the main text of which is equipped with a dictionary containing both terms that are directly related to the subject of the text and the vocabulary of the common plan. After the text, exercises are given mainly a lexical and grammatical plan aimed at checking the degree of assimilation by students of new material, as well as to consolidate the passed. Texts and exercises are accompanied by illustrations, which helps to increase the motivation of students and their effective assimilation of the technical translation course.
The manual is designed for use in the training courses in special (technical) areas provided for by the programs of undergraduate, specialty and graduate of both language and non -linguistic institutions of higher education, and can also find application as part of additional educational programs
