This historical and ethimological dictionary contains about 3400 vocabulary articles on the most frequent significant units (words and phrases) of Russian texts of the XIX century. Of interest are those of them that first entered the Russian speech everyday life at the end of the XVIII and entered the continuation of the entire 19th century. By its origin, these are mainly Russian words, borrowings from the Romano-German language environment, as well as exoticism, calling the realities of the third world.
The dictionary material is classified mainly in alphabetical order, but a nesting method for describing vocabulary units is also allowed.
