Fitzgerald became a popular writer and achieved the hands of his lover. The story of Jay Gatsby is a gloomy twin of this. Gatsby is a nouveau riche, who made a condition in dark affairs, and surrounded himself with a cover of secrets. No one knows the source of his wealth, but everyone was happy to wash his bones at his parties. Only the narrator, Nick Carraoweus, who suddenly recognizes his colleague in him, manages to look under this face. Soon he understands that for Getbsy wealth is only a tool, and the only thing he really needs is to achieve the love of one beauty.
