The book included a translation from the Swedish language of the first water grammar "Wotisk Grammatik Jemte Sprakprofoch Ordforteckning", published in Helsinki in 1856, the author of which is the full member of the St. Petersburg Academy of Sciences Augustus Alquist, as well as written in Russian in 1922 "First Grammar The Volsky language of the native speaker of the Vodsky language D. Tsvetkov, who did not know about the existence of the work of his predecessor. Both grammars are published with comments. Vodsk texts recorded by A. Alquist and attached to his grammatical description are translated into Russian and distilled.
