The variety of magical, household and adventure plots, subtle humor and figurative English make reading these fairy tales not only fascinating, but useful in terms of language learning.
This manual was developed in accordance with the requirements of the current Federal State Educational Standard (Federal State Educational Standard) It will help students of elementary school prepare for an obligatory final exam in English in the new format.
Tales are adapted for educational purposes to the level of Beginner. At the same time, if possible, the figurative and style wealth of the English language is preserved. After the text of each of them, the comment and translation of difficult words and expressions follow, as well as exercises that take into account the new requirements of the final certification. They are aimed not only at checking the understanding of the text, but also at the development of vocabulary, grammar, as well as the development of reading, audit, oral and written speech skills. Exercises have two levels of complexity, which makes it possible for each student to demonstrate his own level of knowledge and skills
