This monograph is devoted to the study of an important inalienable properties of the language - its variability, which manifests itself differently in different languages. Linguistic variability is found in the functioning of a large number of individual languages, dialects, adverbs, in the use of different options for using language units and syntactic construction, the ability to choose the most effective means for expressing the proposed content.
The work is considered the ratio of the invariant and options. As the main aspects of the manifestation of the variability of the language, the territorial variability, the typological structure of the language, stylistic differentiation, language pictures of the world are proposed. The variability of languages by the author is illustrated on the material of various languages of the world.
In the conclusion of the book, the results of the study are summarized and the main directions of studying the variability of languages are determined
