This publication is the first elementary level of modern Hebrew, focused on Russian -speaking students - both grammatically and lexically and thematically. The textbook was prepared by the Department of Judaic of the Institute of Asia and Africa of Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov and is intended for first-year students, but can also be used in the system of informal education and for independent study of the language. The theoretical part - in detail and accessible grammar - is accompanied by texts and exercises.
