The collection of fairy tales by A. S. Pushkin is a bilingual: the original text in Russian is supplemented by parallel translation into English. The book includes five works: “The Tale of the Priest and the employee of his Balde”, “The Tale of King Saltan”, “The Tale of the Fisherman and the Fish”, “The Tale of the Dead Princess and the Seven Heroes” and “The Tale of the Golden Coems”.
The poetic translation was made by Oliver Elton, a British literary critic, critic and translator from Russian and Icelandic languages.
The book is addressed to schoolchildren, but it will be interesting to everyone who studies English, wants to improve reading skills and expand their vocabulary, as well as to those who are reading the works of A.S. Pushkin are pleasure and joy
