In the "syntax" (1883) of the Czech polyglot V.I. Sherzl, the use of cases in Sanskrit based on texts covering the period of 3000 years is investigated. More than 4,500 quotes are given (in transliteration and with translation) from 60 sources - from Rigveda hymns to medieval poetry.
The works of European philologists from the Indianist G. Wilson to comparative B. Delbryuk, as well as the traditional views of Indian grammar (Panini sutras), although the syntax is the least developed in them.
The original work in Russian is not appreciated, and the reprint is designed to correct historical injustice. The book will be useful to those who are interested in the issues of translation from the ancient Indian language.
