The monograph is devoted to the study of the phenomenon "discourse" in terms of its institutionality. In the focus of research interest, there is a sports discourse presented in the form of a complex conceptual space, which has special genre-style and pragmatic characteristics.
A sports analytical article, sports interviews and sports commentary, regarded as the genres of sports discourse, isolated taking into account the criteria of the target orientation of the text and its functions are the research material. The use of framework analysis, content analysis and conversion analysis showed the features of the representation of the speech and thoughts of individuals acting in a certain discursive practice.
