The bases of the semiotics are presented in the course and a review of the modern development of semiotic ideas is given. The course of the course includes an analysis of various spheres of semiotics, including non -verbal semiotics, semiotics of culture and art, semiotics of advertising and fashion, as well as communicative animal systems and the problems of language origin. In -depth copyright developments are presented in terms of communicative analysis, as well as a functional typology of signs. Particular attention is paid to the practical analysis of signs of different nature, sign systems and sign situations in seminars. Semiotics is comprehended as a fundamental methodological base of humanitarian research.
