The textbook is intended to comprehend scientific speech in a new way, to show the laws of the formation of a scientific style.
The scientific style of speech is considered not in a purely philological aspect, but as an object equally important for the disciplines of a general scientific profile, which are applied. The main stages of the formation of knowledge and science are presented, the stages of their understanding in a historical context are distinguished. Scientific speech is analyzed as a way to describe the object of science with the help of metering. Particular attention is paid to the development of issues of learning scientific speech formulated within the framework of the competency -based approach.
